This month we're popping up at The Double Standard not once, but twice!

Our award winning country fried Brussels sprouts coated in a slightly spicy and tangy sauce and topped with sesame seeds and scallions. 9

Our take on the Chinese-American classic, General Tso's Fried Chicken, which happens to make for a great bar snack.

Pan fried savory white radish cakes with smoked carrot chorizo, yuba crackers and hoisin sauce. 8

Savory turnip cakes (also commonly called carrot cakes along with many other names) are a dim sum and hawker food staple, a nostalgic treat for our Singaporean half. This version has added contrasts from the smoky carrot and crispy yuba (soybean milk skin).

Fresh wheat noodles topped with thick slices of our charsiu seitan, fried tofu and garlic chive dumplings, gailan, pickled serrano chilies and sesame-garlic soy sauce.
Served with a cup of boiled dumpling soup. 12

A Cantonese dish that has variations in several parts of Southeast Asia, wanton mee (or wonton noodle) is another food court classic. In Singapore, the noodles largely default to being served dry with the broth on the side, instead of everything being presented as a soup, and dumplings come both crisped and soft for twice the fun.
